            <description>&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;a href="http://www.chemeng.uiuc.edu/Faculty/price.php"&amp;gt;Nathan Price&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt; is one of about 20 recipients of a Howard Temin Pathway to Independence Award in Cancer Research from the NIH/National Cancer Institute. The title of his grant is "Identifying Network Perturbations using Secreted Protein Profiles in Glioblastoma". The award provides his research program approximately $850,000 over the next $3.5 years.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;Daniel Pack and Paul Kenis are two out of eighty two   scientists selected to take part in the National Academy of Engineering's (NAE)   14th annual U.S. Frontiers of Engineering Symposium. The 2&amp;frac12;-day event   will bring together engineers ages 30 to 45 who are performing exceptional   engineering research and technical work in a variety of disciplines. The participants   are from industry, academia, and government.
